If you’re anything like me, decorating isn’t one of your strengths. Not only am I not great at decorating, but I really don’t like clutter, trinkets, or unnecessary decor that takes up a lot of space. I am more minimalist when it comes to that kind of stuff. One thing I LOVE though is art work and pictures. I think it personalizes a space and makes it feel more homey, and bonus… it’s on the walls which means kiddos can’t get it, it doesn’t take up floor space and it’s not in my way. I recently got some wall art for my bedroom and a picture frame for my husband’s office from Minted and I love it so much! Not only did I get to pick out the artwork from so many amazing options, but I also go to pick the frames which was fun!
Here’s the picture that we got for Landon’s office.
He picked out a collage setting he liked, picked the pictures and words to put on it and then picked the frame! We love the farmhouse style so picking the distressed cottage white frame was kind of a no brainer. He loves it and it’s the perfect touch to his office!
And here’s all the art work we got for our bedroom!
Again, I went with the distresed cottage white frame and also the reclaimed barn wood frame to add some depth. I really like the rustic feel they have, but also the simplicity. I chose one abstract piece because I’m a huge abstract art lover, but I also wanted some simple prints to make my bedroom lighter, more airy and relaxing. It looks amazing in our room, especially with our new wall hanging from Knot So Cookie.
I loved the process of picking everything out and personalizing on the site! Minted has so many other awesome things too. We also got some birthday decorations which I’ll be sharing in a couple of weeks on Eli’s 1st birthday blog post! 🙂
