A big thank you to Legoland Discovery Center and Sea Life Aquarium for inviting us and partnering with me on this post.
One thing we love to do is find fun activities for the boys in the Dallas area. There’s so much to do here even just in Plano, but then you look at all the surrounding cities and it’s pretty much endless things to do! My husband works in Grapevine at Park Place Mercedes and has been telling me all about how awesome it is, so we decided to spend a day there! We went to Legloand, the Aquarium, drove around the cute downtown area and finished up with lunch at the BEST Braum’s I have ever been to.
If you have little children, little boys specifically, then you have to take them to Legoland Discovery Center! It is so much fun and we all had a blast. They have all sorts of rides, games, a theatre, a cafe (Jayce loved the pizza), and you can see how legos are made.
Eli had a blast in the baby area!
The room that showed Dallas built in Legos was probably the most impressive thing I have ever seen! They had the airport, American Airlines, Fort Worth Stockyards and a few other major spots.
And my husband’s favorite part… The Star Wars room! 😉
After we were done at Legoland, we headed next door to the Sea Life Aquarium which Jayce was so excited about! He kept saying, “Go to aquarium and see fish!”
There were LOTS of sharks! And this was my first time seeing an octopus in person!
The boy’s favorite part was when we got to touch the starfish and the sea anemones. I have to say, this was my favorite, too!
When we were done doing all of that fun stuff, we headed to Braum’s in downtown Grapevine. It was the best one I have ever been to and we had so much fun! The food was amazing and Eli even got to try ice cream for the first time! 🙂
We had such a great day in Grapevine with our boys, it was the perfect way to spend Landon’s day off from work!
